Job Description
The mission
Build capability across LSKD's Retail network by delivering impactful, consistent and scalable training that brings the LSKD Playbook to life and enables our teams to perform at their best, from induction through to leadership. You will be the connector between our People and Culture strategy and what actually happens on the floor every single day.
How you'll make moves
Training Delivery and Evaluation
Create engaging, practical and high-energy learning experiences that reflect the LSKD brand and culture, so every session leaves people better equipped than when they walked in
Facilitate internal leadership programs and development experiences that build confidence and capability across all levels
Lead onboarding training experiences with a focus on supporting new Head Coaches to step into role with clarity and confidence from day one
Execute a train-the-trainer model, enabling NSO Trainers and Star Trainers to deliver consistent, high-quality training locally across the network
Track and report on key learning metrics including participation, completion, engagement, capability uplift and training effectiveness to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement
Use data and feedback to refine your facilitation approach and improve program outcomes over time
Retail Capability Building
Train and embed core Retail fundamentals across all stores, ensuring consistent standards that translate directly to the community experience
Bring the LSKD Playbook to life by building team capability in how we sell, serve and connect with our community
Build operational capability across roster optimisation and labour planning, product knowledge and storytelling, and Visual Merchandising standards and execution
Support the successful rollout of ongoing Retail initiatives such as Ship from Store, RFID and Click and Collect, ensuring teams are set up to execute with confidence
Program and Initiative Creation and Delivery
Partner with the Head of Learning, P&C and Retail Leadership Team to ensure training is always aligned to business priorities and strategy, not just ticking a compliance box
Translate operational updates and business priorities into simple, actionable learning experiences that Retail teams can pick up and apply immediately
Deliver training aligned to key leadership and organisational initiatives, including Leadership Practices, so our culture scales alongside our growth
Support Retail-specific projects and rollouts through clear, engaging and effective training execution
Operational Excellence
Plan, coordinate and manage training delivery schedules across all stores to ensure coverage, consistency and minimal disruption to operations
Track attendance, completion and compliance through ELMO, maintaining accurate records across the network
Continuously refine training delivery based on feedback, insights and evolving business needs, because good enough is never the standard
Stakeholder Partnership and Feedback
Build strong, trusted relationships with Retail Leaders, P&C and key stakeholders across the business
Partner with Retail Leaders to evaluate behavioural change and the practical application of learning in-store, closing the loop between session and floor
Provide clear, actionable feedback on capability gaps, trends and opportunities so the business always has visibility of where to focus
Act as the voice of Retail from a training and development perspective, advocating for what teams need to succeed
Desired Skills and Experience
Ideal experience
Proven background in Retail operations, leadership or multi-site environments
Hands-on experience creating and delivering training, facilitation or coaching, whether formal or informal
Skilled in e-Learning module creation using Articulate Rise
A track record of building onboarding programs and leadership frameworks that set people up for success
Demonstrated ability to roll out Retail or operational initiatives at scale
Comfortable working with learning systems and HRIS platforms such as ELMO or similar
Experience thriving in a high-growth or fast-paced business environment
