Our retail space is growing and our Chermside store needs a high-impact leader to join as Deputy Coach. This isn't just a regular assistant manager role - this is your shot to partner with our Head Coach, develop a high-performing team that lives and breathes our culture, and turn our retail floor into a community movement.

We’re looking for someone who is ready to dive straight into our values, lead from the front, and fast-track their retail career while keeping people development and community at the heart of everything they do.

Job Description

How you'll make moves

  • Support & Drive the Mission: Work side-by-side with the Head Coach to manage the business, execute retail strategy, and hit your store's growth goals.
  • Create a Community: Help build and roll out a strategic, fun quarterly plan of community events and local studio activations that turn customers into brand advocates.
  • Build & Develop Your Team: Hand-pick, onboard, and grow a world-class team of Educators, creating an inclusive environment where differences are celebrated.
  • Coach Your Team Daily: Run daily game plans and give real-time, constructive feedback that inspires the team to get 1% better every day.
  • Be Product Obsessed: Coach from the front in product knowledge across our core and seasonal ranges. Ensure teams run fit sessions to deliver authentic, education-based selling and premium VM storytelling.
  • Run the Floor: Own the standard of the store - from visual merchandising and flawless open/close routines to keeping the back-of-house organised.
  • Know Your Numbers: Read your daily and weekly KPIs, track metrics like AOV, UPT, and conversion, and deliver sharp reflections with clear actions for improvement.

  • Business Smarts: You quickly understand retail data (budgets, sales forecasts, KPIs) and know how to turn those numbers into actionable results.
  • Resilient & Adaptable: You bring an above-the-line attitude, handle fast changes like a pro, and recover quickly from setbacks.
  • Availability: This role is full-time, on a Sunday to Thursday roster
