Austin, meet your new Street Team Educator!

We're bringing LSKD to Austin with our very first store, and we need a community builder who can bring our vibe to life in the wild. Working closely with our Community Marketing Manager (CMM), this isn't a typical marketing role or typical sales assistant role -  it's your shot to shape how LSKD shows up in a brand-new market, execute high-energy regional activations, and help build our community from the ground up.

You'll be the face of LSKD on the ground across Texas. Supporting our CMM, you will play a hands-on role in bringing our regional community strategy to life - executing local pop-ups, deliver high-impact experiences, and connecting with local fitness partners to ensure every activation is a hub for connection, energy, and purpose.

We're bringing you on early (well ahead of our grand opening later this year!) so you've got real time to get fully immersed in the brand, get inducted by our US and AUS teams, and start preheating the local fitness community before day one.

Job Description

How you'll make moves

  • Drive store launch hype: Support the CMM with regional events and on-the-ground community engagement for our new Austin store opening.
  • Support the Community strategy: Drive local pop-up and activation plans while supporting the Community Marketing Manager to build and execute high-impact quarterly plans across the market.
  • Build authentic partnerships: Support local gyms, community athletes, and partners with runs, workouts, and events that drive real engagement.
  • Be the face of LSKD: Represent the brand at every touchpoint, fostering strong relationships while authentically living the 1% Better Every Day mission.
  • Capture event content: Capture and submit quality on-the-ground content from events and activations for social and marketing use.
  • Execute key moments: Assist in planning monthly activations - managing invites, scheduling, and seamless event logistics from start to finish.
  • Submit monthly recaps: Deliver monthly recaps covering van pop-up performance to the CMM, sharing sharp insights and key learnings.
  • Track performance & KPIs: Monitor van pop-up results, athlete engagement, and budget KPIs to continuously refine and elevate strategy.

So what do you need to get the gig?

  • The Ideal Team Player: Hungry, Humble, Smart.
  • Community Builder: Proven ability to build authentic communities beyond four walls through local networking, events, and real relationships.
  • Relevant Experience: 1–2 years in community marketing, event execution, or retail (retail experience isn't mandatory, but it's a great bonus!).
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You move fast, handle ambiguity like a pro, and know how to turn a strategy into a movement.
  • Everyday Athlete: However you like to sweat, you live it - health and movement are part of who you are.
  • Availability: Flexible availability to meet the needs of our events and pop up strategy. This role will kickstart with 10 hours per week, and will ramp up the closer we get to our Store Opening!
